For 2004 came the new Illinois Connection hunting lodge.  This new custom 5,500 square foot cabin is not only beautiful, but is very functional for a hunting lodge.  Accommodations for 20 plus hunters and guides, the living quarters are second to none with two living rooms, pool table, open bar, office space with internet access, scent free/gear room, large laundry room and most of all ... all meals taken care of.

Activity begins around 4 am with hunters rising for the days hunt.  A quick breakfast with guides taking hunters to stands.  If one chooses to come in for the mid afternoon, a light lunch is provided by the lodges' own wonderful cook.  In the evening, all the hunters return to the lodge where all equipment can be placed, clothes washed and hung for the next day, and a relaxing home cooked meal awaits with no less than 4 home made pies.  The evening really begins with dinner because of the exciting time spent with the other hunters around the table detailing every aspect of the days hunt and anticipation for the next days hunt.  The evening ends with hunters going down stairs to play a game of pool, sitting around the open bar, watching hunting videos on the big screen tv or getting alone upstairs for some close conversation.
